International Cyberlaw: Issues and Challenges
The Georgetown Journal of International Law cordially invites you to
participate in its annual Symposium, which will occur on March 21, 2011.The 2011 Symposium entitled “International Cyberlaw: Issues and
Challenges” will focus on the Internet and international law, a rapidly expanding
area of exploration among international legal scholars. As the reach of the Internet
has become more prolific, governments, organizations and individuals seek ways to
deal with the Internet’s impact on issues such as jurisdiction, intellectual property,
privacy, freedom of expression, foreign policy, terrorism, the law of war, etc.Fresh ideas and fervent debate inspire positive change. To this end, we
invite you to propose a lecture or paper topic related to international cyberlaw
for presentation at the Symposium, which will take place in conjunction with
publication of the Journal’s Symposium Issue in Summer 2011.Please submit article or lecture proposals by November 1, 2010 to
gjilsymposium@law.georgetown.edu. Feel free to contact us with further questions.
Thank you for your consideration, and we hope to see you on March 21, 2011!Sincerely,
Elizabeth Buehler
